At Big Blue Sailing, we bridge the gap between “learning” and “doing.” Our Mileage Builder sessions are designed for students who want to gain confidence and log sea time in a supportive, professional environment. Whether you are stepping onto a boat for the first time or are a certified sailor looking to refine your skills, we create a training environment tailored to your specific goals.
These sessions are perfect for couples or groups with mixed experience levels. We facilitate different levels of training on the same trip, ensuring every student on board is learning, challenged, and gaining the “hands-on” experience they need.

The Experienced Sailor: Use these sessions as a focused Mileage Builder. Focus on advanced navigation, heavy weather tactics, or night-sailing prep to build a professional-grade sailing resume.

Big Blue Sailing is a dedicated Recreational Boating School (RBS). Our training is conducted on vessels fully enrolled in the Transport Canada Small Vessel Compliance Program (SVCP) and adhering to the TP 15136 Standard. This ensures your training is conducted on a boat that meets rigorous safety and maintenance requirements specifically for school operations.
Day Sail and Multi-day, Liveaboard Sailing Lessons
