What Makes This Adventure Special?

This sailing trip is your chance to immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of Croatia while enjoying the peaceful rhythm of life at sea. We’re offering two 7-day adventures this season:

Trip 1: Split → Dubrovnik
Sail south along the stunning Dalmatian coast, stopping at vibrant islands, historic towns, and hidden bays on your way to the iconic walled city of Dubrovnik.

Trip 2: Dubrovnik → Split
Journey north through a different sequence of islands and coastal gems, exploring new anchorages, medieval villages, and breathtaking Adriatic vistas as we return to Split.

The Magic of the Dalmatian Coastline: Along both routes, you’ll visit highlights such as Hvar, Korčula, Brač, Mljet, and more. Wander cobblestone streets, explore ancient fortresses, swim in turquoise coves, and enjoy unforgettable Adriatic sunsets.

A Hands-On Sailing Experience: Take the helm or learn the ropes—this is your chance to build or refine your sailing skills under the guidance of experienced sailors.

Relaxation and Comfort: Your home for the week is a modern 4-cabin monohull with private accommodations and plenty of space to unwind as we sail between Split and Dubrovnik.

This sailing adventure is for everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or completely new to life on the water, our Club trips offer new opportunities to learn, grow, and create memories with fellow travellers.

Club terms

At Big Blue Sailing, we’re all about making your experience unforgettable. To help ensure everything goes smoothly, we’ve laid out some important details below. Please take a moment to review this info before you set sail with us:

1. Booking and Payment for Club Trips
  • Deposit:A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable, but it locks in your reservation for an amazing adventure.
  • Full Payment:The remaining balance is due at least 90 days before your trip. If you book within 90 days, full payment will be due right away. Once payments are made, they’re non-refundable, so please make sure you’re ready to sail!

We know plans can change, and sometimes cancellations are necessary. Here’s our policy:

  • More than 90 days before the trip: You can transfer your deposit or full payment to another Big Blue Sailing trip. If the new trip costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference, but if it’s less, we’ll refund you the difference.
  • Within 90 days of the trip: Unfortunately, deposits and full payments become non-refundable. However, we’ll still do our best to transfer your payments to another trip if we can fill your spot. If we can’t, your payments will be forfeited.
  • Please note: We highly recommend trip cancellation insurance to protect yourself just in case.

While we do our best to keep things running smoothly, there may be times when unforeseen circumstances require us to cancel or adjust your trip, such as weather issues or health concerns with our crew.

If this happens, we’ll offer you the option to transfer to another trip or provide a full refund for any amount you’ve paid. Unfortunately, we can’t cover any additional expenses you might incur, such as flights or hotels.

We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against unexpected events, whether it’s a cancellation, medical emergency, or trip interruption. BBS leaders are trained in First Aid and carry communication equipment for emergencies, but we can’t cover medical expenses or evacuation costs.

Make sure you’re covered before you join us!

For your safety and ours, you’ll need to sign a Waiver of Liability before your trip starts. This waiver releases Big Blue Sailing from liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages that happen during the trip, even if they’re caused by your own actions.

You’ll need to submit the signed form before we can welcome you aboard.

By participating in this trip, you’re giving us permission to take photos or videos of your adventure. These might be used for marketing purposes, but don’t worry—we won’t publish anything without asking for your consent.

We respect your privacy and will always check before using any specific photos.

From time to time, we may update or modify these terms. If that happens, we’ll post the changes on our website and notify you of any important updates. Continuing with your booking after changes means you accept the new terms.
