PAYMENT

We request full payment at sign up (except for course where a deposit is mentioned). Your payment will reserve your spot in the desired class.

CANCELLATION

If the student cancels a course:  We will do everything we can to find another person to take your spot. If another person can take your spot we will return your payment minus $100 for materials and administration.

However:  We don’t refund for courses cancelled within the following periods of the scheduled start date:

• Basic Week-end courses: six weeks
• Five-day live aboard courses: two months
• Seven-day live aboard courses longer than 7 days: three months

We will do our best to re-book you into something else within the same calendar year.

Should Big Blue Sailing have to cancel a course due to lack of students (we try to avoid that), technical issues, weather concerns or any other reason, we will issue a full refund of the course fee paid. Our maximum liability for any course is subject to a maximum of the amount paid by the student. No other claims beyond the paid amount for the course can be made.
